Stop Dialing 411 And Start Texting 46645

December 2nd, 2008

Dialing 411 from your cell phone is an expensive proposition. T-Mobile and Verizon both charge $1.49 per call while AT&T and Sprint both charge $1.79 per call – plus tax. If you ask for additional numbers or want the number sent to you via text message the price goes up.

411 is a secret cash cow for the wireless carriers. It’s their dirty little secret. Combined they make roughly $8 billion a year from 411 calls.

Lazily many of us use 411 as our personal phone books. Even when we have already called 411 once for a particular number – we often call again for the same number Read more…

Women Multi Task Because They Have To

November 29th, 2008

My husband calls it prioritising. I call it being lazy. I have never seen him do more than one thing at a time. God knows how he gets by at work but at home he makes an issue out of having to lift his feet so I can vacuum beneath them, while joggling the baby on my hip to keep him quite and stirring the spag bol to make sure it doesn’t burn all on top of helping little Daniel with his homework. November 24th, 2008

Infidelity hurts no matter whether it is in a marriage or dating relationship. While some suspicions in a relationship are completely normal, sometimes you just know something is not quite right. Our Relationships with Cellular/Mobile phones

November 22nd, 2008

Can you Imagine life without your Cellular/Mobile phone now?

It makes you wonder, doesn’t it, how we managed to cope in the past without a Cellular/Mobile phone.

I mean sure, we could always use a public phone box on the street, but the public box lacked that convenience of being able to make the call from virtually where ever you may be at that given time.

As I was doing my Christmas shopping last month I lost count of the amount of times than I took out my handset and gave a quick call to a relative to see if a gift that I was buying in the shop would be suitable for my Uncle or Aunt, Brother or Sister Read more…

Be a Detective With a Reverse Telephone Number Lookup

November 19th, 2008

Doing a reverse telephone number lookup is very much like detective work: you follow the trail until you find out who is the culprit. In this case, Å“culprit is the person who owns that telephone number that keeps calling your number, or that number somebody gave to you the night before (but you only realize there’s no name on it the day after).

It doesn’t matter if it is a telephone number or a cell phone number. Most people think that the detective work can all be done if they just do a free reverse telephone number lookup on unidentified numbers Read more…
