Knowledge Or Action?

December 13th, 2008

It’s been said that knowledge is power. While that’s true to an extent, it isn’t the whole truth. Knowledge without action is almost useless. It doesn’t help to be a genius if you never do anything with the knowledge. I tend to think of knowledge as ammunition and action as a gun. (It’s a typical guy thought, I know but it works for me.) Think about it. If you have bullets and no gun, they’re pretty much useless. If you have a gun and no bullets, the best you can do is throw (action) the gun at the target Read more…

Thinking for Success – The same method does not work for everyone.

December 12th, 2008

I am always concerned that there are so many books available on the subject of being successful, but unfortunately many of these books are read and then discarded.

It is very important that when you purchase a book on any subject that the author is an expert in his or her field. So when purchasing an e-book on how to be successful make sure the author can back-up there credentials

From studying this subject on how to be successful, rich and happy I have reached the following conclusion;

The same method does not work for everyone Read more…

Dont let worries overwhelm you.

December 11th, 2008

Don’t let worries overwhelm you.   by Ajay Pats
As you move through this day, make it a point to replace troubled thoughts with thoughts of peace. Replace thoughts of weakness with thoughts of strength.

Replace thoughts of limitation with thoughts of possibility. Replace thoughts of anger with thoughts of compassion.
Let go of any thoughts of frustration and helplessness. In their place, put thoughts of creativity and empowerment.
Gather your various and scattered thoughts together, and point them all in a positive, productive direction Read more…

7 Great Life Lessons From Tsunami Survivor

December 10th, 2008

As I am writing this article, the world is shaken by the tsunami that hit Asia on 26 December 2004. It is only now that we start understanding the greatness of the tragedy.

But it is also at such moments that we can see examples of outstanding people’s bravery and courage. And you know, they don’t even think about themselves as brave, they simply did what they thought was right.

I am referring to the story of Phuket’s resident Bill O’Leary, a former Australian, who saved many lives Read more…

I Want Success! What Does That Mean To You?

December 10th, 2008

Ok, you say you want success, right? What does that mean? What is it you want?

Defining exactly what you want is the first step to manifesting it in your life.

If you could become anything you wanted, or succeed at anything you wanted in life, what would it be?

This first step is not a time to be “sensible.” Ask yourself, “If money, relationships, time, etc. were not an issue, what would I be doing?”

Don’t just talk to yourself in your head Read more…

It’s the Most Wonderful Gift of the Year

December 6th, 2008

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. As we deck the halls and fill the malls, we’re filled with anticipation, joy, and excitement. The holiday season is upon us, and it’s a special time we choose to show our appreciation and share our love with the special people in our lives. However, with all of the
joy the holidays bring, this still tends to be one of the most stressful times of the year. Why?

Could it be because it’s intoxicating to buy loved ones whatever their hearts desire “ and we’re willing to rise in the dark of night to shop in the pre-dawn hours for the Å“gift of the year? Ah, yes, the mad dash to the 5 a Read more…

Are you an Early Bird or a Night Owl “ and how that can make or break your business success?

December 4th, 2008

Early Birds are typically the people who love to get up at the crack of dawn and generally use the rising sun as their natural alarm clock.

It does not take much to get them out of bed and once their feet hit the floor, well they are almost instantly ready to start doing whatever needs to be done.

Some might turn on the tunes, singing along happily and are up to date on world news before the sun has even peek its entire head over the horizon

Around midday, their chirpy mood starts to wane, making way for the unexplained grumpiness that starts to set in Read more…

Monitoring Negative Thoughts

December 4th, 2008

One of the biggest killers to your business is negative thoughts, such as Å“I will never be able to make it in the business world? or Å“I can not stand this client! How do you monitor these thoughts? To practice paying attention to them is the first step. As you become aware of them, counter them, immediately. I have friends who say to themselves, "cancel" when these thoughts come up. For myself, I used to imagine a large, old-fashioned rubber stamp Read more…

Tsunami Thoughts You Can Get Your Mind Around

December 3rd, 2008

If you are like me, you’ve had a hard time getting your mind
around the tsunami thing.

I don’t know whether to call it a disaster, catastrophe, or
what.

It’s almost beyond belief, isn’t it?

So I wanted to offer you a few thoughts that I can get my mind
around and hope they prove meaningful.

Live every day as if it is your last.

For God knows how many thousands, their last day came without
the slightest warning.

Who knows how many of us will someday depart without notice as
well Read more…
